Es ist au\u00dferdem darauf ausgelegt, die Einhaltung der verschriebenen Behandlung durch die Patienten zu st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Voraussetzungen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Es sind alle Patienten zugelassen, die ein EXOGEN\u00a0Ger\u00e4t zur Behandlung von Frakturen gekauft haben, das von einem qualifizierten Arzt zur Behandlung einer stabilen, nicht dislozierten, etablierten Pseudarthrose* bzw. einer verz\u00f6gert heilenden oder akuten Fraktur mit einem Frakturspalt von weniger als 10\u00a0Millimetern (mit Ausnahme von Wirbel- und Sch\u00e4delfrakturen) verschrieben wurde. Alle Patienten werden automatisch in das Programm aufgenommen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Patienten m\u00fcssen ihre Fraktur gem\u00e4\u00df den Produktanweisungen mindestens 120\u00a0Tage mit EXOGEN behandeln und dabei eine Therapietreue von mindestens 90\u00a0% erreichen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evaluierung<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sie sind berechtigt, wenn Ihr verschreibender Arzt feststellt, dass Ihr Knochen nicht heilt, also keinen Fortschritt in der kn\u00f6chernen Vereinigung zeigt. Der verschreibende Arzt muss zwei R\u00f6ntgenaufnahmen des betroffenen Knochens bereitstellen, von denen eine vor der Anwendung von EXOGEN und die andere fr\u00fchestens nach 120\u00a0Tagen seit Beginn der Behandlung mit EXOGEN aufgenommen sein und das Fehlen einer kn\u00f6chernen Vereinigung zeigen muss.<\/p>\n<p>Das EXOGEN Ger\u00e4t enth\u00e4lt eine integrierte Nutzungs\u00fcberwachung, die Datum, Uhrzeit und Dauer jeder Behandlungssitzung aufzeichnet. Mithilfe dieser Nutzungs\u00fcberwachung kann Bioventus best\u00e4tigen, dass das Kriterium einer 90%igen Therapietreue erreicht wurde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vom Leistungsprogramm ausgeschlossen<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frakturformen:<\/li>\n<li>Instabil<\/li>\n<li>Disloziert<\/li>\n<li>Frakturspalt gr\u00f6\u00dfer als 10\u00a0Millimeter<\/li>\n<li>Wirbel- oder Sch\u00e4delfraktur<\/li>\n<li>Pathologisch<\/li>\n<li>Modifizierte oder abge\u00e4nderte Ger\u00e4te<\/li>\n<li>Patienten, die mit einem EXOGEN 4000+ Modell behandelt werden<\/li>\n<li>Das EXOGEN-Leistungsprogramm wird unwirksam, wenn w\u00e4hrend der 120-t\u00e4gigen Behandlung alternative Interventionen durchgef\u00fchrt werden. The EXOGEN device has also been reported as effective as an adjunctive non-invasive treatment of established nonunions in patients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With internal or external fracture fixation hardware present. EXOGEN cannot penetrate metal and therefore should not be applied directly over hardware.<\/li>\n<li>Undergoing treatment for infection at the fracture site. EXOGEN is not intended to treat the infection.<\/li>\n<li>Believed to have diminished bone quality. EXOGEN is not intended to treat diminished bone quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, EXOGEN is indicated for accelerating the time to a healed fracture for fresh, closed, posteriorly displaced distal radius fractures and fresh, closed or Grade I open tibial diaphysis fractures in skeletally mature individuals when these fractures are orthopedically managed by closed reduction and cast immobilization.<\/p>\n<p>There are no known contraindications for the EXOGEN device. Safety and effectiveness have not been established for individuals lacking skeletal maturity, pregnant or nursing women, patients with cardiac pacemakers, on fractures due to bone cancer, or on patients with poor blood circulation or clotting problems.
